The Khandhar residence in Malad is a showcase of highly customized, ultra-luxurious modern living. Each private suite and attached restroom is uniquely tailored with distinct architectural features, ranging from soft, organic curves to bold, geometric marble installations, creating a cohesive yet highly personalized home.
Key Design Elements:
Color Palette: The home transitions elegantly between distinct moods—from warm, soothing beiges and creams in the daughter’s and parents’ rooms to a dramatic, high-contrast palette of deep mochas, gloss whites, and stark blacks in the primary client suite.
Furniture and Furnishings: Custom-built joinery dominates the space, featuring pill-shaped wardrobe displays, intricate fluted paneling, and streamlined floating vanities. The beds feature plush, curved headboards that beautifully soften the precise architectural lines of the rooms.
Lighting: Lighting is meticulously integrated directly into the architecture, with sleek profile ceiling strips, backlit geometric wall panels, and striking multi-globe pendants adding extraordinary depth and ambient warmth.
Materials: A lavish selection of materials elevates the interior, including dramatic heavy-veined marble claddings, rich wood veneers, high-gloss acrylics, tinted glass panels, and stunning matte black sanitaryware in the bespoke restrooms.
Spatial Layout: The private quarters are designed for maximum utility without compromising on high-end aesthetics, cleverly incorporating space-saving floating study desks, recessed pill-shaped wall niches, and luxurious, spa-like bathrooms with seamlessly integrated shower enclosures.
